PB.Net build 4541

We choos in the WPF controls "Datawindow" and put it on a WPF windows
(canvas). The name is dw_1. I would like to rename it. How can I do this??

If I rename it in the XAML (Name="dw_1" to name="dw_whatever") my
application will not compile (dw_whatever does not exist). If I change
it back in the XAML to dw_1, it will not compile anymore (dw_1 does not
exist).

Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric;

1) Is this PB 12.x or 12.5.x?
2) What O/S version are you using?

FWIW: I had the same problem when doing this in my STD Foundation Class
framework before but, was not concerned as I only develop in PB Classic
and re-migrate the WPF version from Classic each time a new version is
required.

Its PB 12.5.1 on Windows 7 32 bits.

Problem is that we have external c# dll's.

Just like you do in classic. In the properties pane, you click on the
datawindow control name (at the very top). An edit field appears and you
change the name there.
